MIR Cooled Incubators | -10℃ to 60℃

Cooled incubators provide a variety of temperatures and lighting patterns.

The MIR Cooled / Refrigerated Incubators combines an ambient temperature control range of -10℃ to 60℃ with an environmentally conscious design that consists of a intuitive new LCD display and programmable settings of temperature / light / timer.

Notable features:

  • The automatic setting temperature alarm will activate if the chamber temperature deviates more than ±1 degrees Celsius to ±5 degrees Celsius
  • The incubator incorporates an excessive temperature prevention circuit that protects experimentation materials in the rate event that a temperature abnormality does occur. This system turns off the heater and chamber fan motor when too high a temperature is detected, and turns off the compressor when too low a temperature is detected.
  • The DC fan is designed to be aimed obliquely upward to prevent direct air flow contacting samples. This reduces medium drying by approximately 50% in MIR-154 and by approximately 15% in MIR-254
  • The automatic defrosting to combat frost during low temperature operation, the MIR Cooled Incubator series provide an automatic defrost function that operates automatically at a specified time every day. Manual defrosting is also an option for selection.

The MIR heated and cooled incubators are designed to offer accurate temperature control and consistent uniformity making them suitable for laboratory culturing, industrial incubation and various testing applications. 

Wide Temperature Range
Multiple programming capability through wide temperature ranges. MIR Cooled incubators (-10 degrees Celsius up to 60 degrees Celsius) and MIR Heated incubators (5 degrees Celsius up to 80 degrees Celsius) with excellent chamber uniformity.

Ergonomic Cabinet Design
Improved usability with modern design focusing on form and function. The design includes a reversible door, adjustable low vibration and gentle air circulation that reduces media drying.

Programmable Operation with New LCD Display (MIR Cooled Incubator Models)
Combining flexible Temperature, Light ON/OFF, Time control, a maximum 12-step plus constant operation or 12-step repeating operation can be programmed according to your various experiment requests. The new MIR also offers the choice of timer mode, 24-hour Clock mode and Timer mode. Up to 10 programs can be stored for convenient retrieval and set-up of frequently run experiments. Individual programs can be combined using the Join function. Constant operation mode without step operation is also available.
