PHCI carried out its CSR activity called "PHCI Peduli" at an orphanage on Friday, 15 March 2024, with the
theme of Environmental Conservation Education.
PHCI Peduli was initiated by KARTINI TEAM (a creative team of exclusively female employees) in
collaboration with PHCI management and the company's mosque's staff.
PHCI Peduli is the company's first CSR activity carried out in an orphanage, and it is one of the
company's efforts to contribute to the environment and society, which aligns with company ESG policy.
There were 56 orphaned children present at the PHCI Peduli event, ranging from 4 to 15 years old.
This time, the donation provided by PHCI is in the form of an environmental conservation learning
facility that explains the sorting of organic and inorganic waste in a simple and digestible manner for
children, as well as the benefits of recycling waste if it is appropriately processed.
Along with waste sorting lessons, children play simulating games that make practicing waste disposal
according to categories more fun and interactive.
In addition to providing learning facilities, PHCI donated rice, wardrobes, dispensers, worship supplies
for the orphanage residents and gave each child a monetary donation of Rp100,000.
PHCI realizes that we live side by side and must help each other. Therefore, this program will be
implemented on an ongoing basis every year with continuous adjustments to make the program more relevant
and valuable.
