Independent Service Engineer (The Netherlands)
PHC Europe B.V. is the supplier of PHCbi laboratory equipment for the whole of Europe, Turkey, Russia, the Middle East, South America and Africa. We are responsible for all service and maintenance of our products and therefor have our own service organization in the Netherlands, Germany and in the United Kingdom.
For our service team in the Netherlands, we are looking for a full-time:
Independent Service Engineer
As a Service Engineer, you have several years of experience as an independent service technician. You work closely with fellow service engineers, the planning department, the validation engineer and the service support at the office. The devices you work on are high-quality medical and laboratory equipment, such as ultra-low temperature freezers, refrigerators, incubators, climate chambers and laboratory autoclaves.
Job Content
After a thorough product training and a setting in period, you will work alternately on location with our customer or in our workshop in Etten-Leur.
- Based on the planning, you will independently perform all common repairs, modifications, maintenance and service activities
- Where necessary, you will provide support in validation processes and you will carry out (refrigeration) repairs at the customer's location or in the workshop in Etten-Leur; In short: a divers and independent position for an experienced service technician in the refrigeration industry
Job requirements
- A MBO-4 education electrical or mechanical engineering and refrigeration technology
- The F-gas diploma category I, VCA Basic Safety and NEN 3140
- Customer-oriented and communicative qualities are typical of you as a person
- Analytical and problem solving abilities and a hands-on mentality
- In possession of a driving license and you live in the middle of the Netherlands (triangle Amsterdam, Utrecht, Rotterdam)
- A sufficient knowledge of the English language to communicate and report with colleagues in Japan?
Are you a skilled mechanic with understanding of electrical engineering but not yet skilled on the refrigeration part, we will offer you the opportunity to obtain your technical refrigeration diploma.

Tevens zijn wij verantwoordelijk voor alle service en onderhoud van onze producten. Wij hebben een eigen serviceorganisatie in Nederland, Duitsland en in het Verenigd Koninkrijk.
Voor ons Serviceteam in Nederland zijn wij op zoek naar een fulltime :
Zelfstandige Servicetechnicus
Als Service Engineer heb jij een aantal jaren ervaring als zelfstandig servicemonteur. Je werkt nauw samen met collega servicetechnici, de planning, de validatie engineer en de servicesupport op kantoor. De installaties waaraan je werkt zijn hoogwaardige medische en laboratoriumapparatuur, zoals ultra-lage temperatuur vriezers, koelkasten, incubatoren, klimaatkamers en laboratorium autoclaven.
Functie Inhoud
Na een gedegen producttraining en inwerkperiode zul je afwisselend op locatie bij onze klant danwel in onze werkplaats in Etten-Leur werkzaam zijn.
- Op basis van de planning voer je zelfstandig alle voorkomende reparaties, modificaties, onderhoud en servicewerkzaamheden uit
- Waar nodig biedt je ondersteuning bij validatietrajecten en voer je (koeltechnische) reparaties uit bij de klant op locatie of in de werkplaats in Etten-Leur. Kortom: een veelzijdige en zelfstandige rol voor een ervaren servicemonteur uit de koeltechniek.
Functie Eisen
- Heb je een MBO-4 opleiding richting Elektrotechniek of Werktuigbouwkunde en Koeltechniek
- Beschik je over het F-gassen diploma categorie I, VCA Basisveiligheid en NEN 3140
- Zijn jouw klantgerichte en communicatieve kwaliteiten typerend voor jou als persoon
- Beschik je over analytisch en probleemoplossend vermogen en een hands-on mentaliteit
- Ben je het bezit van Rijbewijs B en woon je in Midden Nederland (driehoek Amsterdam, Utrecht, Rotterdam)
- Beschik je over voldoende kennis van de Engelse taal om met collega’s in Japan te communiceren en rapporteren
Ben je een vakkundig sleutelaar met verstand van elektrotechniek maar nog niet koeltechnisch onderlegt, dan bieden wij je de kans om je koeltechnische diploma te behalen.
