Energy Saving Activities
Saved energy consumption by converting the ceiling lighting to LED on the 2nd floor of the 3rd Building.

Cleanup Activity in the Yoshino River Adoption Program
Yoshino River Adoption Program is a volunteer system in which local companies and residents "adopt" stretches of river to clean and maintain like foster parents. The Wakimachi site has participated since 2000.
The program was canceled due to Coivd-19 in FY 2020 and 2021.

530 (Gomi Zero = no waste) Campaign
The 530 campaign was held, cosponsored by the labor union as part of the community contribution and environmental protection activity. Employees, union members, and their families participated in the cleanup along two routes near the Wakimachi site.
The program was canceled due to Coivd-19 in FY2020 and FY2021.

Emergency Preparedness and Response
Concept and Equipment Preparation
Our current company standards for emergencies does not assume “leakage of liquid waste.” However, we continue to store and manage equipment and materials as they are and to provide education on procedures for handling chemical substances so that we can respond if and when such a situation is re-assumed.
