Main Activities in FY2019
|CO2 emissions from production under 1,078 tons
||Accomplished the goal, with CO2 emission at 689 tons by consolidating the transformer and introducing LED lighting to reduce power loss

Energy saving by detaching the power receiving transformer for the ME5 production line to reduce power loss

Cleanup Activity in the Yoshino River Adoption Program
Yoshino River Adoption Program is a volunteer system in which local companies and residents "adopt" stretches of the river to clean and maintain like foster parents. The Wakimachi site has participated since 2000.
In FY2019, we participated twice in the cleanup.

530 (Gomi Zero) Campaign
The 530 campaign was held, cosponsored by the union and the management as part of the community contribution and environmental protection activities. Employees, union members, and their families participated in the cleanup along two routes near the Wakimachi site.

Emergency Preparedness and Response
Concept and Equipment Preparation
Although the company standard currently does not assume emergency situations (such as leakage of liquid waste), equipment storage/management and trainings on chemical substance handling are continued to enable appropriate response when the assumption changes.
