Since 2014, Panasonic Healthcare Co. Ltd., the parent company of Panasonic Biomedical Sales Europe B.V., has been carved out from the Panasonic Group.
In fact, since our creation, we have increased our independence and have built a successful global Healthcare company, due to a clear vision, a core activity focus and a strong growth strategy. One example, is our acquisition in 2016 of the Diabetes Care business of Bayer AG from which we established Ascensia Diabetes Care Holdings AG. Our objective, since 2014, has always been to become a totally independent, global healthcare company. Since 2014 many actions have been taken to achieve independence, the next action to achieve this, is a new company name.
On April 1st, 2018, Panasonic Healthcare Co., Ltd. will become PHC Corporation, and our biomedical products will be sold under the business brand name PHCbi.
Our new brand name “PHCbi” represents the biomedical business of PHC Corporation that has made untiring efforts to respond to our customers’ expectations by creating quality and reliable products with precision through our technological strength.
Apart from the name change, no significant organizational changes will be made. The organization in Europe remains as you know it. With the same high quality products, the same high level of service, and the same mission of helping our customers to improve the health and well-being of people around the world.
