PHC Corporation of North America offers field service training courses to third party and in-house service providers on all laboratory products offered by PHC Corporation in the North American Market. Our field training courses are directed toward refrigeration, electronic and biomedical technicians already familiar with the basics of troubleshooting refrigeration and/or electronic equipment. PHCNA provides a comprehensive approach that includes theory and hands on instruction to maximize the benefits in the least amount of time, utilizing the latest technology available through a variety of media.
Introductory courses are held at our offices in Wood Dale, IL.
Course Descriptions
Introduction to PHCbi brand Refrigeration and Ultra Low Equipment (5 days)
This course is designed for those that are new to PHCbi brand's refrigeration and ultralow refrigeration units. The course provides an overview of the various models offered and covers the different control interfaces, calibration and troubleshooting of our laboratory and medical grade refrigerators. The course covers cascade and auto-cascade theory, as well as PHCbi brand ultralow freezers, their controls, troubleshooting, charging of the refrigeration systems, calibration and accessory installation. The hands-on portion includes troubleshooting issues, navigating the different control types, calibrations and participating in a rebuild of a traditional cascade unit.
Introduction to PHCbi brand Incubator and Environmental Equipment (3 days)
This course is designed for those that are new to PHCbi brand incubator and environmental equipment. The course provides an overview of the various models offered by PHCbi brand. It covers the sampling methods, control interfaces, calibration and troubleshooting for the various incubator models. The hands-on portion includes accessory installation, calibration and troubleshooting of various incubator models. The course also includes information on the plant chambers and cooled Incubators models offered by PHCNA.
PHCbi brand Refrigeration/ULT Refresher or Incubator Refresher courses (Online)
These courses are designed for technicians that are familiar with PHCbi brand equipment or have attended a previous PHCNA introductory class. The course will cover new products released within their section as well as new information on trouble shooting, installation, and information on new units. After completion of the course and test, a certificate will be generated for the technician.
