The VIP ECO SMART uses the EZlatch™ door closure for one-handed operation. The patent pending EZlatch is engineered to accommodate frequent door openings and to control frost associated with extreme temperature differentials in high-humidity environments. The EZlatch is the centerpiece of a holistic access and frost mitigation system.
Simplified, one-handed freezer door operation maintains the integrity of the door seal to assure energy efficiency, resulting in less frost buildup and maintenance. A perimeter heater under the gasket allows for gentle warmth, further reducing ice buildup. The integrated electronic lock on the VIP ECO SMART provides enhanced security.
