The MDF-DU703VH-PA has earned ENERGY STAR Certification based on independent testing by third-party laboratories. The VIP ECO SMART delivers the lowest daily energy usage of any ultra-low temperature freezer in its class: 5.40 kWh per day. The VIP ECO SMART has less heat output, resulting in lower HVAC costs and an overall reduction in energy consumption compared to other ULTs of the same size.
Security Control and Monitoring
The PHCbi brand VIP ECO SMART features integrated systems to secure your highly valued inventory. SMART features include three lock methods: facial recognition, keypad, or optional proximity card. Controlled freezer access monitors who has entered the ULT freezer and when and tracks total door opening duration.

The VIP ECO SMART uses the EZlatch™ door closure for simplified, one-handed operation that maintains the integrity of the door seal. An integrated electronic lock on the VIP ECO SMART provides enhanced security.
The patent pending EZlatch is engineered to accommodate frequent door openings and to control frost associated with extreme temperature differentials in high humidity environments. The EZlatch is the centerpiece of a holistic access and frost mitigation system. This combination of product and process maintains the integrity of the door seal to ensure energy efficiency.
